Claudette Chenevert, BIS, Author, Speaker and Master Certified Stepfamily Foundation Coach, has over 30 years of experience as a stepmother. She’s been coaching women since 2006.
Claudette also writes for Stepmom Magazine and speaks on parenting platforms. Her book The Stepmom's Book of Boundaries: How and Where to Draw the Line --for a Happier, Healthier Stepfamily? is available on Amazon.
When Claudette isn’t working, she enjoys RVing with her husband and watercolor painting. Her newest passion is baking sourdough bread.

Lynnette Flatt, Director of Social Media for Stepfamily Foundation is a stepfamily coach. Lynnette has been a stepmom for 19 years. She cherishes the bond with her stepson, Keegan. She calls him her “good karma in life”. Their relationship has seen many emotional landscapes. Lynnette enjoys sharing her journey with other stepparents through coaching and through her blog, sunshinestepmom.com. She also is working on her first book, a devotional designed for stepfamilies. Lynnette enjoys playing disc golf and attending concerts. “Music heals”. Her favorite bands are Mumford & Sons and Kings of Leon."
Clinical Psychologist located in Guatemala, with a master’s degree in Counseling & Mental Health, specialized in Family Therapy with Cognitive-Behavioral Orientation, Prevention of Destructive Divorce and Stepfamily.
Claudia is also a presenter at international conferences and has lectured on topics related to family psychology. She is a media psychologist for TV, radio, magazines and newspapers. She has participated in programs in Israel and Costa Rica, for Focus on the Family, and in Panama, for Radio Panamá and Hosanna Visión.
She is a Guatemalan willing to work for the nations. She is currently writing a book for stepfamilies and a children’s book on the same subject. She constantly teaches about stepfamily in Latin America, enhancing the validation of the name and recognition of the stepfamily.
She is honored to be one of the counselors of The Stepfamily Foundation, Inc., New York, under the leadership of Dr. Jeannette Lofas, Ph.D.

Develops and maintains relationships with government officials on the federal, state and local levels as well as other professional groups for joint endeavors related to stepfamilies.
Married to Jim Borgeld for 28 years.
7 children and 14 grandchildren.
I am Jeannette Lofas's husband and stepfather to Jeannette's son and three grandchildren and she is the step mother to my two sons and two granddaughters. I have been a champion of the inclusion of stepfamily counseling in corporate work life programs and employer assistance programs. I have made presentations on the impact of divorce, re-coupling and remarriage on individual productivity in the workplace.
I work full time as an employer relations assistant director in helping students and graduates get internships and jobs.
